Earthquake measuring 7.2 strikes Haiti

An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale struck Haiti on Saturday morning, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter was 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) from the town of Saint-Louis du Sud.

The exact death toll is not yet known.
