Following the government's decision to expand eligibility criteria for a booster dose of the COVID vaccine to those in the 50-60 age group, Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) is to be the first person to get a booster shot in that age group.
Horowitz will receive the shot at noon today at Meir hospital in Kfar Saba.
Following the vaccination, Horowitz will address the media and take questions from reporters.
