Deputy Defense Minister Alon Shuster told Reshet Bet this morning that the government had to take into account "various sensitivities" in its policy toward expansion of settlements.

Shuster was responding to a report in Kan News that the government had decided to block the construction of 1000 housing units in areas over the Green Line.

"When we established the current government, we said that we would strengthen the settlement enterprise, while continuing to take into account various sensitivities on the issue," Shuster said.
