Train traffic in the Atlit area has been resumed over the last few minutes, but Israel Railways emphasized that it will be a long time before regular train service returns to normal due to heavy disruptions nationwide as a result of severe blockages caused by protests over lack of support for disabled individuals.
The railway service stressed that it provides a critical infrastructure, serving hundreds of thousands of passengers on a daily basis.
