The director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, told Galei Tzahal, "Right now I would allow the third vaccine and the other measures to work. We will have to make a different decision in two or three weeks, maybe even in August."
"We do not want to reach a closure, but the reality could lead to it being a necessary step. We have started a third vaccination campaign to reduce the morbidity, and if we see a decline it could prevent - or delay - more severe measures."
