Minister of Defense Benny Gantz spoke to his Greek counterpart Nikos Panagiotopoulos about the devastating fires in Greece. The Greek Minister updated that 80 fires erupted across the country in the last couple of days and thanked the State of Israel for offering to send equipment.
The two ministers agreed that should it be needed, the Ministry of Defense will be ready to assist its Greek friends and partners.
