The new budgetary law will create a public committee to examine the practices of financial supervision in Israel. The committee will submit its recommendations to the Minister of Finance and the Bank of Israel within 300 days.
The committee will be headed by the director of the Ministry of Finance and his deputy will be the deputy manager of the Bank of Israel. Three additional members will be chosen to represent the public.
