Kan News reported that the New Hope party is expected to put vote down a law designed to prevent Netanyahu from running for office.
The report quoted coalition officials as saying that the attorney general believes there are legal issues with the law, according to which, an individual who has already served out eight years as prime minister would be required to go on a "cool down period" and refrain from running for office over a four-year span.
