The IDF said that a Palestinian Arab who was shot dead near the village of Beita, south of Shechem (Nablus), was holding an object that looked like an iron bar and continued to advance towards the troops.
"The Palestinian advanced quickly towards the troops and after he failed to stop, despite gunfire in the air by the fighters, the force commander fired at the suspect," the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said, adding the incident will be investigated.
