Judoka Said Moulay, who was forced to defect from Iran after refusing to not face Israeli rivals and competing in the Olympics under the Mongolian flag, qualified for the round of 16 in the up to 81 kg weight category.
Moulay, who has become Sagi Muki's friend, may meet him in the semi-finals, if the two qualify there.
