Israeli President Isaac Herzog held his first meeting with opposition head Benjamin Netanyahu today.
The two reportedly discussed several issues at the forefront of the public agenda, including the coronavirus epidemic.
Herzog stressed his belief in the importance of a robust opposition in the Knesset, and specifically the importance of the role of the leader of the opposition.
