Director-General of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, told Galei Tzahal Radio that the, "upward trend in morbidity continues its course."
"Yesterday there were 959 new cases [in Israel] - a high number for Shabbat. For comparison's sake, the previous Shabbat, just 430 were recorded," he said.
"Currently there are 91 patients in critical condition. We're seeing a gradual increase in this area as well," said Ash.
