A 500-pound (227 kilogram) World War II-era bomb was located Thursday on an estate in Goole, East Yorkshire, in Britain, BBC reported.
Eight homes were evacuated and a local road was closed as a safety precaution.
The bomb was safely detonated on Saturday afternoon, Humberside Police said.
