Federal health officials in the United States are examining the possibility of giving a third coronavirus vaccine dose to those who have not responded well to the previous two doses, as well as to transplant patients, as is being done in Israel and France.
The Centers for Disease Control first want to ensure that a third dose will significantly boost protection.
