Shas leader MK Aryeh Deri has joined the rising tide of criticism against the move to open kosher supervision to the free market.
"These reforms are a direct continuation of the process that begin with Shabbat observance in public and the attack on Jewish law. We have no doubt that this is intended to allow Reform supervision, not for any economical reason. We will fiercely oppose this destructive agenda," he said.
