Following a situation assessment conducted by the Jerusalem Municipality, it was decided that as of Sunday, Jerusalem Municipality inspectors will begin enforcing the obligation to wear a mask, subject to the guidelines of the political echelon.
It was also decided by the Jerusalem Municipality that as of today, the Enforcement and Policing Division will increase its public relations and begin issuing warnings to the public.
According to the Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Leon: "Although the number of patients in Jerusalem is low, in order to keep the number low and keep Jerusalem green, we must all keep the guidelines and make sure to wear a mask. At this point we must act responsibly and keep the guidelines."
