Miki Zohar of the Likud called on Defense Minister Benny Gantz to join forces with his party in forming a right-wing government.
"My friend, Benny Gantz, as someone for whom Israel's best interests are of utmost importance, I urge you to join a nationalist coalition without the Islamist Movement (Ra'am) and save the country from this dangerous government," he said.
