Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, spoke with the Internal Security minister Omer Bar-Lev and Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai regarding the situation on the Temple Mount. The Prime Minister thanked the Minister and the Commissioner for managing the events on the Temple Mount responsibly and with discretion while preserving the freedom of worship of the Jews on the mountain.
The Prime Minister stressed that the freedom of worship on the Temple Mount will also be fully preserved for Muslims, who will shortly begin observing the period of Eid al-Adha (Festival of the Sacrifice).
