Health officials in Israel reported that 2,342 local students and 227 teaching staff members have been diagnosed with Corona.
High schoolers account for approximately 29% of the cases, while about 50% are elementary school students and a further 21% are kindergarteners.
14,690 students and 275 teachers have been asked to quarantine following exposure to virus carriers.
