Speaking on Galei Tzahal this morning, Prof. Galia Rahav, director of the department of infectious diseases at Sheba hospital in Tel Hashomer, addressed the steps being taken by the government to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

"What they're currently doing is not enough," Prof. Rahav said. "There is a steady rise in infection and we have to stop it as soon as possible. Looking solely at the numbers of those seriously ill as a guide is problematic. If we go only according to that number, we are likely to miss the right time to take action."
