Defense Minister Gantz held a situational assessment of state of civilian affairs in the Gaza Strip, along with deputy Defense Minister Alon Schuster and the Coordinator of Government Operations in the Occupied Territories, General Ghassan Alian, at the Coordination and Liaison Headquarters near Gaza.
The Minister of Defense instructed that the GRM agreement which would allow for close supervision of the projects in the Gaza Strip to be continued and enhanced and to carry out an analysis of the crossing activity since Operation Guardian of the Walls.
At the end of the visit, the Minister of Defense wished to thank Colonel Iyad Sarhan, who will end his position at the Liason next week, and with it, more than 30 years of service in the IDF.
