The chairman of the Ra'am faction, MK Walid Taha, explained the ultimatum he issued yesterday to the coalition, thanks to which he reached agreements with the prime minister on the transfer of the "Bedouin administration" to the Ministry of Welfare.
"The message was conveyed and we have reached an understanding. It addresses a great many issues, and I hope that this time Arab society will really be entitled to be at the heart of every government decision," Taha said.
"We wanted to convey a message that we are partners in a coalition, not a party waiting to be done good. Our agreements should be dealt with by force of agreement. If someone forgot to do so for 3 weeks - we remind them."
Will there be more ultimatums on the part of Ra'am? ”I do not know. It depends on the conduct of others. Hopefully not, but if necessary - it will happen," Taha told Galei Tzahal.
