The government has authorized the appointment of Prof. Nachman Ash, currently the government's coronavirus project manager, as the new director-general of the Health Ministry.
Ash will be replacing Prof. Hezi Levy, who intends to return to his prior position as director of Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon.
