Prime Minister Naftali Bennett tweeted that the wife of the late Col. Sharon Asman had told him of her huband's special personality, and how in addition to being a highly professional commander he was extremely sensitive to the human emotions in every individual he met.
"She said that in complex moments Sharon would say 'breathe and smile' and thus calm the atmosphere. I share the Asman family's immense sorrow. We are happy that we have such commanders. May his memory be blessed," Bennett wrote.
