Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman, and Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz are to present to the government a proposal to appoint a taskforce which will examine the possibility of establishing a factory in Israel where coronavirus vaccines will be manufactured.

The taskforce will begin the regulatory process and consult with the relevant experts in the field in order to decide on the best way forward. The comptroller-general in the Finance Ministry will head the taskforce, which will also include officials from the Prime Minister's Office, the Budgets department, the Health Ministry, and the National Council of Economics.
