Minister of Internal Security Omer Bar-Lev (Labor) hopes that the state will not honor its agreement with the residents of Evyatar.
"I very much hope that no Yeshiva will be established in Evyatar. It is an illegal settlement and remains under the authority of the Defense Minister. If I were Defense Minister, I could honor everything in the written agreement and still not allow a Yeshiva to be built there."
