MK Amichai Shikli, who voted against the Citizenship Law, responded on his Twitter account to overthrow the law in a plenum vote.
"Tonight we received proof of the problematic nature of a government that does not have a clear Zionist majority. One that begins the night with a one-year extension and ends it with a six-month extension, starts with 1,500 permits and ending with more than 3,000. Israel needs a functioning Zionist government and not a mixed government dependent on stopping the votes of Ra'am and Meretz.
