Responding to yesterday's stabbing of a Chabad emissary in Boston, Yaakov Hagoel, the head of the World Zionist Congress, noted that the number of anti-Semitic incidents appears to be growing every day.

"We must not tolerate a situation in which Jews cannot walk around in safety and security," he said. "Anti-Semitism is mounting by the day, and in many places around the world, Jews are in actual physical danger solely because of their religion.

"I call on the government of the United States and on all world leaders to deal with anti-Semitism using all the powers provided by the law, and I wish a speedy recovery to Rabbi Shlomo Noginsky," he added. "We will continue to raise our heads in pride as Jews - Am Yisrael Chai."
