Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz (Meretz) told media today that the coronavirus vaccine offers substantial protection against suffering serious illness as a result of coronavirus infection.
"A person who is not vaccinated is twenty times more likely to be seriously ill than someone who had both shots," Horowitz said.
Meanwhile, Horowitz along with Prime Minister Bennett and Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked met with heads of local authorities in the Arab sector today, in order to promote the government's vaccination program, especially among youth.
