According to Health Ministry data, 295 new cases of coronavirus were diagnosed yesterday, out of 63,067 tests conducted.
There are currently 26 people in serious condition in the country's hospitals, of whom 16 are on ventilators.
Several of these 26 people have been fully vaccinated, a Health Ministry official stated on Friday.
