A senior member of the coalition insists that there is no danger of the government breaking up regarding the Citizenship Law, even though several of the parties within the government are unlikely to support it and it is not expected to pass the Knesset in voting next week.

The official told Israel Hayom: "The coalition is not breaking up. We went into government together - together, with the understanding that we don't all think the same way - but we knew that Israel needed a stable government. We're not fazed by all the noise made by the opposition or by the disputes between us. We will continue to work for the Israeli people and we won't enable the dangerous government, headed by someone accused of crimes - Benjamin Netanyahu - to gain a victory."
