Former central district commander General Avi Mizrahi spoke out about the compromise regarding Evyatar, saying: "The army should have acted much faster and more determinedly. Evyatar should have been demolished as soon as the first trailer, jeep, or water tank arrived. In my and my predecessors' six years, not a single new outpost has been established."
