A justice of the peace in Be'er Sheva has sentenced a border guard convicted in a plea bargain of committing threatening offenses, aggravated assault, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon to 14 months incarceration.
The amended indictment describes five charges of violence against the complainant, who was the defendant's wife at the time, during the years 2016 to 2021. In the sixth indictment the defendant was convicted of illegally taking and possessing police weapons including gas grenade, stun grenade, and hundreds of rounds of various kinds of ammunition.
