Lapid: "He set a goal for us all."

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid paid tribute to Nahal commander Col. Sharon Asman, who died during fitness training.

''I join in the overwhelming grief of the Asman family and the Nahal Brigade over the untimely death of Col. Sharon, who was both a soldier and commander of the brigade. His words as he took command of the brigade, just two days ago, were "We will set a high standard and make sure to push it ever higher." This is now a goal for us all. May his memory be blessed."
