Binyamin governor Yisrael Gantz paid tribute to Nahal commander Col. Sharon Asman, who died during fitness training.
"Binyamin mourns the passing of Col. Sharon Asman, who was previously the commander of the Binyamin regional brigade. I was privileged to be associated with Sharon who was a fearless man and a genuine warrior. He was dedicated to preserving settlements and protecting the lives of our residents and the security of the State of Israel on a daily basis," Gantz said.
