The IDF notes that a preliminary investigation into the stabbing attack in the Jordan Valley shows that a terrorist approached an IDF fighter, attacked her and snatched her weapon. The fighter struggled with the suspect and was stabbed in the back during the confrontation.
The terrorist escaped with her personal weapon and after a chase by IDF forces, was seized and the stolen weapon was found.
The fighter was treated on the spot and evacuated in moderate condition to continue receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
