Foreign Minister Yair Lapid welcomed the normalization deal between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
"The peace we celebrate today is not between governments and leaders, but between peoples and nations. It is not my peace or that of my colleagues standing here, but that of our children," he said at the ceremony marking the opening of the Israeli embassy in Dubai.
