Minister of Health and chairman of Meretz, Nitzan Horowitz, clarified that, "Apparently someone got confused. I will in no way allow for the repeal of the hundreds of health rules and additions to hospital staff during the Corona period," following an erroneous report published this morning.
"The public health system is one of the pillars that enable the resilience of the State of Israel. Instead of fighting for it and the entire Israeli public, all parts of the government must mobilize for the struggle against the virus. Existing rules will remain in place. Period," he stated.
