US Secretary of State Antony Blinken welcomed the opening of the Israeli embassy in the United Arab Emirates.
“Congratulations to UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed and Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid on the opening of the Israeli Embassy in the UAE. This is an important step for peace between the two countries,” he tweeted.
