A police officer was lightly injured after a stolen vehicle drove towards him while he stood at a checkpoint in order to it. The policemen fired at the vehicle, which fled the scene and did not respond to the policemen's calls while driving wildly.
During the searches, a suspect was found outside the vehicle and arrested after a chase on foot, and the vehicle was apprehended at a nearby location. Preliminary investigation reveals that the driver of the vehicle is a 15-year-old who stole the vehicle from a relative.
