President Reuven Rivlin met on Sunday with representatives of the Jewish community in New York during his visit to the United States.
"I know there may be disagreements between me and Biden regarding the Iranian nuclear issue but as always, we will handle them as friends always do when they have disagreements," Rivlin said, adding: "The United States has always been Israel's closest friend, and we will always be grateful for its consistent and bipartisan support we receive from every administration in the United States and for the concern for the welfare and security of the citizens of Israel."
