Defense Minister Gantz and Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi held a telephone conference ahead of Kochavi's return from the United States. Kochavi informed the defense minister about the meetings he had with senior government and military officials, with an emphasis on Iran, promoting American aid to Israel, and increasing military cooperation in the region, and reviewed immediate security issues regarding all sectors of Israel.
