The Hamas terrorist organization has expressed its opposition to the establishment of an official commission of inquiry that would investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of Palestinian activist Nizar Banat.
According to Hamas, the Palestinian Authority and its auxiliary organizations carried out the "liquidation" and therefore they should take responsibility. Hamas also called on the Palestinian general public to take steps to bring an end to what they term PA violations.
