The Ministry of Health has announced that traces of the Indian variant in sewage under Ashkelon, raising concerns that the city may have experienced widespread exposure.
Anyone experiencing fever, cough, difficulty breathing and weakness or anyone who is suspected for any reason of contracting the disease is asked to get tested as soon as possible.
The Ministry of Health reassures the public that Ashkelon is not yet considered a seriously infected area, but ask the public's cooperation in containing any possible cases.
