In light of the relative calm over the past week and after assessing the security and political arenas in the Gaza Strip, it was decided to expand the fishing area off the Gazan coast from six to nine nautical miles and to approve the import of raw materials for essential civilian enterprises from Israel to the Gaza Strip. These measures come into effect tomorrow, and are predicated on continued tranquility.
