Prof. Dror Mevorach of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem spoke about the new COVID-19 outbreak in an interview on Reshet Bet radio.
"The only surprise in the spread of the Indian variant is that it has only just now begun to spread. Ben Gurion Airport must be hermetically sealed for a few days until the contagion chains are cut off. Infections by vaccinated people should not be a concern because they will not be seriously ill," he said.
