In 2020, the number of applications to open insolvency proceedings increased by 36% compared to 2019. This emerges from the annual report of the Custodian General.
The report also found that in 2020 there was a 6% increase in bankruptcy cases that were closed and more than NIS 33 billion in debt claims were filed.
