Deputy of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib, was released by the Nazareth Magistrate's Court after his arrest last month.

Khatib was taken into custody following Arab rioting on the Temple Mount on Jerusalem Day. He was accused of, “using his public position to incite and inflame the rioters on the Temple Mount and throughout the country..."

28 individuals were injured in wake of Khatib's arrest in Kfar Kana.
