44 students at a school in Binyamina have been diagnosed with COVID-19 recently, according to the Binyamina regional council.
The vast majority of them are from seventh to eighth grades from a school called Kramim. Local authorities have attributed the outbreak to those returning from abroad. The school has been closed, and students are being instructed to enter quarantine. Health authorities suspect that this may be a new variant of virus from India.
