Foreign Minister Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid) and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken held discussions last night, officials report.

The Foreign Ministry has announced that: "[Lapid and Blinken] spoke for an extended period of time, discussing a wide range of strategic issues including the security situation in the region, Iran, and the potential for making more normalization agreements with countries in the Middle East and beyond. Foreign Secretary Lapid and Secretary of State Blinken decided to adopt a policy of 'no surprises' between them, and in addition, agreed to maintain open channels of communication between the two countries, and to meet in the near future."
